The more traffic the better right?
I was thinking the same thing when joining FreeViral who claim to provide One million hits! to your site. ‘Dr Evil’ from the movie ‘Austin powers’ only demanded One million dollars in return for world domination, so why not click on 7 other sites and signup to FreeViral for One million hits!.
It all sounds to good to be true as always with advertising these days, especially on the web. But i can see the potential in this, and after all it is free to try.
The secret to this working will be in your site design, your landing page must be visually attractive as the ‘one million’ hits you receive will be visiting to retrieve their FreeViral code (which is in a frame at the top of your users page). Basically you must attract the user long enough to make an impression in the small window before the FreeViral code loads and the user closes your page.
What good is that traffic if it doesn’t convert any sales?
That is the question here but at the very least the one mllion hits will convert a small percentage, the huge exposure may bring some users back for another look. If your webpage offers a relevant service to traffic building or site advertising FreeViral may be worth a try.
